One of the first things that people notice about us is our smile. Uneven teeth or discoloured teeth can cause embarrasment as well as affecting your confidence at work and in relationships. Recent reality TV programes have highlighted cosmetic treatments available to quickly and simply improve appearances. All of these treatments are available at our practice and all of our dentists have had extensive trainings in all of these procedures.

Tooth whitening can be performed in one visit lasting 60 minutes followed by a home kit that can be used for one or two days. Techniques such as veneers takes 2 visits. One to prepare the veneers and the second visit for the fitting. Often, we are able to construct veneers without having to drill any part of your tooth. New materials allow us to now prepare veneers as thin as contact lenses but still as strong as before.

Many patients are now feeling more comfortable with braces and we can provide fixed and removable braces to straighten teeth. If you are concerened about the appearance of a metal brace then we can offer you ceramic tooth coloured brackets and even a tooth coloured wire. Sometimes, it may be necessary to remove a tooth to acquire space, however, we can also use very thin orthopaedic appliances called ALF's to create space without having to extract any teeth.
